Thane, Oct 30 (UNI) Irked over pending demands, thousands of tribals from five districts of Thane, Palghar, Raigadh, Nashik and Mumbai took out a protest march against the government here on Tuesday.

They thronged the city and squatted in front of the district collectorate here.

The youths dressed in their traditional costumes and also carried all their household articles, including choolas, and grains for cooking.
They also carried with them their cattles at the protest.

The founder of the Shramajivi Sanghatana Vivek Pandit said that enough was enough and several meetings were held with the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other senior officials but what they got were only empty promises.
