Rajnath targets TRS, Cong; alleges both ignoring development, playing politics on caste and religion
Zaheerabad,Telangana, Nov 29 (UNI) Close on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reaffirmed the party agenda in Telangana and slammed ‘Mahakutami’ (Peoples front) for ‘unholy’ alliance and ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi for playing politics based on caste and religion.
The Home Minister is on a two-day poll campaign in the state, which is going to the polls on December 7.
He addressed four public meetings in Telangana in Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Zaheerabad and Maheshwara on Thursday.
Lashing out at the TRS government, Mr Singh said that (Chief Minister) K Chandrasekhar Rao should explain why he has not fulfilled the promise of a Dalit Chief Minister in the state.
“Words should not different from deeds” he said.
