Patna, Dec 10 (UNI) JD(U), a constituent of NDA and running government with BJP as coalition partner in Bihar, today said the exit of RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha from the NDA would not have any effect on it.State JD(U) president and Rajya Sabha MP Vashishtha Narain Singh said that the resignation of Mr Kushwaha from the Narendra Modi government and snapping his ties with NDA, would have no effect in Bihar politics.

JD(U) was not responsible for creating a situation to force Mr Kushwaha to desert NDA, he clarified amid such allegations being made against JD(U) by some corners.

“NDA is strong and will remain strong in days ahead as well”, Mr Singh said adding that Mr Kushwaha had not taken the decision to desert NDA in haste as he had already made up his mind to do it long back.

JD(U) was not at all responsible for such a decision taken by Mr Kushwaha, he said adding how could JD(U) be blamed for this development as the RLSP chief had been maintaining in recent past that his party had alliance with only BJP and not the JD(U).
