Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today asserted that government`s image was dented when police personnel failed to discharge their duties properly.
After inaugurating the building of Bihar Police Academy constructed at the cost of Rs 275 crore and spread over 133 acres of land at Mora village in Nalanda district, Mr Kumar said that government`s image would improve if police personnel worked with full sincerity but if they did not perform their duties properly, the government`s image
would suffer a dent.
He said people were supreme in any democratic society as they were responsible for electing a government asking police officers and jawans to remain fully prepared to deal with any situation.
CM said, “We are elected government but our job is not to nab criminals. It is the duty of police to arrest outlaws Government is providing all resources to the police personnel but they should discharge their duties of protecting the rights of people efficiently.
