FICCI, Japan Embassy set up India-Japan Friendship Forum

New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI) FICCI and the Embassy of Japan in India launched the ‘India-Japan Friendship Forum’ (IJFF) here.

The Forum will be chaired by Ms Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, former Indian Ambassador to Japan; Mr Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India would serve as the Chief Patron (Ex-officio) and FICCI will be the official secretariat managing the forum.

IJFF would draw membership from various Indian and Japanese Industry leaders and eminent individuals.

Mr Hiramastu said that this unique institution will bring Indian and Japanese community closer and enhance cultural linkages.

Ms Wadhwa said that the IJFF would bring Japanese knowledge and culture closer to Indians.
